Servicing Those Who Want to Feel Seen
Why I Do What I Do
Facing systems of harm that deprive our authenticity, intimacy, and care is part of my life’s experiences. It is my personal and professional stance to engage these parts through emotional connections, empathy, and compassion. In my therapy work, I am grounded in supporting Black, Indigenous, and people of color, the LGBTQIA++ community, and other intersectional identities.
I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming therapy space that brings clients closer to their healed self. As an individual and relationship therapist, it is part of my practice to create an inclusive environment for gender-affirming care, ENM, poly, sex-positive, and BDSM & kink-affirming care. My practice is centered in opening up to life and exploration, repairing ruptures, navigating the feelings of being stuck, growing into your authentic self, and healing shame and traumas.
How I Do What I Do
My work is focused on curiosity and discovery, finding pleasure, holding space for non-judgement, and dismantling the effects of systems of harm with restorative thoughts & experiences. For those who feel lost and do not know where to turn, I will be an active participant in the empowerment of your life. Whether your focus is on community, found family, friendships, or other intimate partnerships, I strive to understand and support the relational work that encompasses my clients’ lives. This includes creating dialogue and light to liberation, uncovering confidence regarding intimacy, and restoring parts of the self harmed by trauma. As an EMDR-trained therapist, trauma recovery and harm reduction are instrumental to creating a life cultivated by safety, support, love, and care.
I received my Master’s degree in Counseling with a specialization in Forensic Counseling from Adler University. The degree allows me to provide services for anyone who has been affected by the criminal justice system.
